Your
wedding is very special. A once-in-a-lifetime event. You could add a touch
of class and elegance by having some meaningful and romantic poems read
out loud by Gordon dressed so finely in his kilt. "My
Love is Like a Red Rose" is a very popular poem.
1st Corinthians 13 read in a Scottish accent is quite moving. And The Lord's Prayer is another. |

Children absolutely love to learn about Scotland and all things Scottish. They are so inquistive and love to know every detail about every little thing. "What is that at the front of your kilt?" "Do Scottish policemen carry guns?" "What kind of money do you use?" They enjoy hearing the Scottish accent and are delighted to be taught some Scottish words. |

There are many meetings and functions that churches have which are about entertaining and bringing some different cultural flavor to the proceedings. For example seniors groups or groups who have recently toured the British Isles and who wish to know more about where they went and be entertained at the same time. They always love to hear the lilt of the Scottish accent as it will help them relive there vacation. |

Many people here in the USA are extremely proud of their Scottish heritage and, when their loved ones pass on, hearing a verse, a favourite poem or a personal eulogy read out loud in the Scottish accent is often a comfort at an emotional time. |
